Stock up on Cheap Eyeglasses for Emergencies
I’m always looking for easy bargains for items that have to go in my bug-out kit and main survival stocks. Some of the hardest items are the expensive ones because you have to invest so much to be properly prepared.
That’s why I got real excited when I saw this review article about cheap eyeglasses (not sunglasses people, real prescription glasses for very little money). All of know how expensive it is to stock up on eyewear — especially since your prescription changes over time.
So naturally the prospect of very inexpensive eyeglasses from a company called Zenni Optical caught my attention.
I decided to have a look thinking these would be some really crappy eyewear but I was very pleasantly surprised. Zenni has great looking frames at a great price. No kidding you can get a pair of quality glasses for under $20 and the shipping is also cheap. They have flat rate shipping so if you wanted to buy 4 or 5 pairs of eyeglasses to stock your supply kits it would set you back less than $100!
They do have a nice selection and some of the options can put you up to the $40 range but that is for more top drawer stuff and hell even that is less than half what you’d pay at some discount vision center.
